Advertising on Lifestyle Magazine works on a barter-agreement. The advertiser must sponsor a product/service (for example a weekend’s accommodation, hot air balloon ride or a spa treatment etc).

The prize can then be used:

In a Lifestyle Magazine Competition (refer to http://www.lifestylemagazine.co.za/competitions for examples) OR By Lifestyle Magazine Staff (editorial staff, writers or sales executives)

Advertisers who sign up with Lifestyle Magazine receive the following:

1)  A detailed advert on the website, which includes a logo or thumbnail, 4 images (current advertisers only have 1 image, but we are “upgrading” the package to offer advertisers even more value!), detailed description and all contact details – valid for one year.

2)  2 x A4 pages in one of the electronic magazines which are sent out monthly – once off.

3a)  In the event of the advertiser’s prize being used in a Lifestyle Magazine competition, they will also receive the following:
The competition will be advertised on the website for at least a month.
A one page A4 review once the competition winner has utilized the prize.
The review (refer to point b) will also be published on the website.

3b)  In the event of the advertiser’s prize being used by Lifestyle Magazine staff, the advertiser will also receive:
An additional insert (2 x A4 pages) in a second edition of the magazine (this is to replace point 3a above, as that will not be applicable in this instance).
A one page A4 review once Lifestyle Magazine has utilized the prize.
The review (refer to point b) will also be published on the website.

To sign up, the advertiser pays a small“ADMIN FEE”  – this is not a subscription or a listing fee, but purely for the administration involved behind the uploading of the listing, the advertising of the competition, the layout of the e-magazine article etc.
